Café-Quality Latte in 2 Minutes
What you'll need: The Masterpiece, hot water, your favourite milk (soy & oat work great for Masterpiece!), a whisk or frother.
Step 1 — Sift
Add 1–2 scoops (3g) of matcha to your cup. Sifting removes lumps and makes everything smoother.
Step 2 — Paste
Pour in a splash of hot water (15–20ml). Stir slowly into a smooth, thick paste. This is the key to a great latte — don't skip it.
Step 3 — Milk
Add 60–80ml of your milk directly to the paste. Try oat for that signature matcha latte flavour.
Step 4 — Froth
Whisk or froth everything together until smooth and frothy. Pour over ice if you like it cold.
Optional: Add a teaspoon of sugar or agave if you like it sweet.
Total time: 2 minutes. Total cost: $2.04
FOR STRAIGHT MATCHA TEA (1 minute)
This is where The Masterpiece earns its name.
Step 1 — Sift 1.5g into a bowl.
Step 2 — Pour 70–80ml of hot water (around 80°C).
Step 3 — Whisk briskly for 15–20 seconds until frothy.
If you've only ever had matcha in lattes, try it this way once. The flavour is completely different! Fuller, cleaner, more interesting.
